Hanoch Piven is an award winning Israeli artist, children book author and edu-cator whose colorful portraits have been published for over 30 years in most major American magazines and newspapers such as Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone and in many publications in Europe and in Israel where Piven gained great visibility due to his long time collaboration with the daily Haaretz and his TV shows on the Educational Channel. Piven has lectured extensively about creativity and its application to education and life in diverse platforms across the world, from Ted Conference to Harvard Business School and has taught in diverse Schools around the world such as The School of Visual Arts in NYC, China Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Bezalel in Jerusalem and many more. Piven’s art method has been implemented in many kindergartens and schools in Israel and throughout the world as a means to teach creativity and visual ex-pression to children.  His latest book for children, authored with Shira hecht-Koller, Dream Big, Laugh Often and more Great Advice from The Bible was published in March, and is described in a Kirkus starred review as: “An unusual, fascinating blueprint for living a good, happy life … an amazing, joyous achievement.”
