Renana Ravitzky Pilzer is the Head of the Beit Midrash at the Hartman High School for Girls, where she is developing the Midrashiya's Orthodox feminist curriculum. She previously served as co-director of the Melamdim School for Teacher Training, which is run in partnership with Tel Aviv University. Renana is a former teacher in the Elul Beit Midrash and a founder and leader of Kehilat Shira Hadasha in Jerusalem.  Currently she is pursuing a doctorate in Midrash and Gender at Bar Ilan University.
