Sharon Dolin

Sharon Dolin is the author of seven poetry books, most recently Imperfect Present (U. Pitt., 2022); Manual for Living (Pittsburgh, 2016); Whirlwind (Pittsburgh 2012); and Burn and Dodge (U. Pitt., 2008), winner of the 2007 AWP Donald Hall Prize in Poetry. Dolin received an NEA Fellowship in Translation for her translation Late to the House of Words: Selected Poems by Gemma Gorga (Saturnalia Books), which also won the inaugural Malinda A. Markham Translation Prize and was shortlisted for the 2022 Griffin Poetry Prize. She is also the author of a prose memoir Hitchcock Blonde: A Cinematic Memoir (Terra Nova Press, 2020). The Director of Writing About Art in Barcelona, she lives in NYC where she teaches private poetry workshops and is Associate Editor of Barrow Street Press.
