Yael Shy
Yael Shy is the Director of the New York University Center for Spiritual Life and the Founder and Director of the Mindfulness Project at NYU. She is a graduate of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality's Jewish Mindfulness Teacher Training Program and on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Zen Center. In 2010, Shy was named one of the “36 under 36” changemakers transforming the Jewish world by the Jewish Week. She lives in Brooklyn.
